About Us

Our Story...

Our story began in the early 1900s, sparked by the Pentecostal Revival that swept through the early 20th century. A small group of Norwegian immigrants gathered in humble house meetings, united by a shared faith and a passion for worship. These gatherings soon outgrew homes, and in 1926, the community formalized as a church, adopting the name The Scandinavian Mission which ministered to their community in their native Norwegian language.

In 1933, they expand their outreach to Tacoma’s English-speaking community while cherishing their Scandinavian roots. By 1968, a merger with another local assembly fueled a bold vision: a new church built by the congregation’s own hands called Bethel Christian Assembly.

In 1999, continued growth led to building a new facility on 112th Street, and with it, a new name: Church For All Nations. From those early house meetings to today’s vibrant community, our church was born in the fires of revival; refined by missions, healing, worship, and prayer. Strong Bible teaching has nurtured generations of disciples and leaders, creating a legacy of faith that works through love.

Expanding the vision...

Today, Church For All Nations is a vibrant, welcoming community led by Pastor Dan Rasmussen and a dedicated group of Elders. We are actively living out our calling to share the gospel through heartfelt worship, powerful prayer, and practical Bible teaching that equips people for daily life. Our church is engaged in both global and local missions. As part of the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies, we partner with like-minded churches to extend our impact. From fostering connection through small groups to serving locally and globally, we are a church family committed to spreading the love of Christ.

Where we are headed...

At Church For All Nations, our vision is to love God and love people. Our mission is to be disciples and make disciples. We're focused on raising up Spirit-filled leaders, reaching the next generation, and living out the gospel through worship, prayer, and practical teaching. As we look ahead, we're committed to growing deeper in faith, wider in influence, and staying faithful to what God has called us to do—here in Tacoma and around the world.
